The Oxford Companion to Cheese, published in 2016, was chosen to receive the 2017 James Beard Award for Reference and Scholarship, the highest award in the food publishing world. Professor Heather Paxson served as an Area Editor for the volume which consists of 855 encyclopedic entries on all aspects of cheese.
